ECOC 2013 is taking place at the ICC Capital Suite, within the ExCeL centre.
ICC London is located within ExCeL one of the world's largest regeneration projects and key financial hubs - London's Eastside. The transformation of the area East of Tower Bridge has created a vibrant and exciting 'events district' offering fantastic new hotels, excellent transport links and a real variety of social and entertainment venues.
10 minutes to the west of ICC London you'll find Canary Wharf, the second largest financial district in Europe and home to the UK's tallest building. Over 100,000 people work there, with offices situated alongside over 200 shops, bars and restaurants.
5 minutes to the south, is the iconic O2, which offers 30 bars and restaurants and is now linked to ExCeL London by England's only Cable Car-The Emirates Air Line. Also to the south, is the World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich, home to historic sites including the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory.
To the north you will find the Olympic Park. The London 2012 Olympic Games staged a number of sports during the games and the Olympic Park is less than half mile to the north of ICC.
15 minutes to the north you will also find Europe’s largest urban shopping centre, Westfield Stratford City. Westfield offers over 300 shops, as well as a 14-screen cinema, a casino and three hotels.
